In this post, Sarah Toland and Belinda Woolrych discuss how much furniture hire costs and how it works.
Furniture hire costs depend entirely on the rooms and size of the home, every home is different. The furniture hire stylist assesses the home, looks at the areas of each room then addresses what furniture layout needs to be done in each room. Every room is quoted according to each room’s itemised requirements, so the seller knows exactly what is going to be used in the space and how much it is. Costs do vary from room to room, house to house, but generally three bedroom homes, we can start from anywhere from $4500, and it can go right up to $8000+.
Contained within that price is the management of the entire work involved with it i.e. transport both ways and arrangement. From a project point of view, a furniture hire installation date is something that we can project, many weeks out when looking at a downsize. This date can be scheduled in the logistics early on.
The cost is for a hire period of normally six weeks for the price of four. We would generally say that a house should normally sell in that period. The period covers the installation, photography and campaign.
